This past year has been very busy and full of great experiences for us, but we’re happy that “Dream Engine“ is finally available to share with everyone and we’ve been looking forward to this for more than a year! This album has the widest range of musical expression from The Fair Attempts so far, and is the first album to include industrial blues in the blend of music genres.
In August, “Master Key“ was released as the fourth and final single from the album, but it was such a busy time for us because the album’s companion novel, “Dreaming Your Dream“ by Starwing, was published in Hardcover format around the same time. I think it’s accurate to say that “Master Key” has been our biggest hit! Within the first 48 hours, we saw that the average Spotify listener played the song 10 times in one day, and the YouTube stats page reported that “Master Key (Official Lyric Video)“ was replayed by viewers significantly more than other videos on the channel. To date, the video has more than 9.2K views!
One week ago, the “Dream Engine” album was released and available to stream on Spotify or purchase on Bandcamp. The album will soon be available in CD format as well (there was a slight COVID-related delay in the delivery of our international shipment).
Every couple of weeks, a lyric video will be released until each song has a lyric video featuring the paintings by Melinda Maria Lack that illustrate the novel, along with video of her process. “Dream Engine (Official Lyric Video)” has more than 1.1K views already, and we truly appreciate all the interest in these videos created by Friendly Timo. You can watch the new video below.
The “Dream Engine” song was also played on several indie radio stations including Radio Dark Tunnel and SLE Radio. The radio premier was on Situation 47 with melodywhore and Sapphira Vee. We were invited to pre-record a brief chat about our “Dream Engine” and “Dreaming Your Dream” projects. You can listen to the show with this embedded player.
We truly appreciate all the support we’ve received from all of you this year! It has been a lot of fun for us and we sincerely hope you enjoy the new album.
