Skyrim Special Edition

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition has remastered effects, lighting, depth of field and more. The Special Edition also includes all the DLC for the original game.

This game was released on October 28, 2016, and I’ve already played 55 hours!  It’s easy to lose yourself in the Skyrim world.  I didn’t play much of the original game myself, but my husband and I played it together for hundreds of hours in 2011.  The Special Edition looks phenomenal, and looks better than many games released this year!

The gameplay is what makes Skyrim so special, and the open world is rewarding to explore.  There’s always a reason to wander off and do something random.  I especially love how my recent game stories begin with phrases such as: “The first time I stole a horse,” and “A dead guy sent thugs to my house.”  I know there will be many more surprising and memorable experiences for me in this game, and I’ll be sharing some of them here.  You can also view screenshots of my adventures in my gallery.

*The image used in this post is not the title screen for the game.  The game has no title screen, so I used a desktop wallpaper for the original game.
